Car Construction Clinics
1st Car Construction Clinic
When: April 5, 2008
Time: 9:00 am
Where: Mike Shaw Chevrolet & Saab - 1080 S Colorado Blvd Denver, CO 80246
Description: The 1st clinic will last 1 to 1 ½ hours. We will go over the basic assembly of the car. We will inform everyone how the race will be run and we will have a Question & Answer session at the end.
 
2nd Car Construction Clinic
When: April 19, 2008
Time: 9:00 am
Where: Jerry Stander's Collision Works - 3900 Norwood Drive Littleton, CO 80125
Description: The 2nd clinic will also last 1 to 1 ½ hours. You may bring your car to this clinic if you need help with the assembly. We will cover any questions that came up during the assembly of the car. We will explain how to create weights for your car and how to paint a Super Stock car. There will also be a Question & Answer session at the end.
 
3rd Car Construction Clinic
When: May 3, 2008
Time: 9:00 am
Where: Jerry Stander's Collision Works - 3900 Norwood Drive Littleton, CO 80125
Description: The 3rd clinic will also last 1 to 1 ½ hours. We will go over the tuning and testing the cars. We will cover where to put the stickers on the car. We will go over any final questions that anyone has.
 
Initial Inspection
When: May 17, 2008
Time: 9:00 am Last Names A-L    1:00 pm Last Names M-Z
Where: Jerry Stander's Collision Works - 3900 Norwood Drive Littleton, CO 80125
Description: The Initial Inspection will be done in 2 phases. The 1st phase will be last names A - L and the 2nd phase will be last names M - Z. We will make sure that the cars conform to All American Soap Box Derby specifications. All cars must be at this inspection. You will receive your race number at this time. We will also take the driver's picture for the race program.
