The Soap Box Derby is back in Denver!

The 2008 Race was a Success!

The Soap Box Derby is a youth program for children ages 8 to 17. Each driver must build their own car, with adult help, to compete in this race. Each racer gets an award just for participating with trophies given out to 1st through 5th place. The 1st place winner in each division gets to go to Akron, Ohio for the All-American Soap Box Derby in July 2008.
 


When:
  • Trial Run - To be determined
  • Race Day - To be determined
  • NOTE: The drivers need to be at the race track at 7:00am. Driver meeting at 7:30am at finish line. Driver processional will start at 8:00am. The race will start at 8:30am.
Where:
  • Euclid Middle School in Littleton
    777 W Euclid Ave Littleton, CO 80120 (See Map)

The children are encouraged to get sponsors for their cars. This will offset the cost of the car kits. The sponsors may have their logo on the car to advertise.
